HEARD Gives Invited Testimony at the U.S. Civil Rights Commission

On April 13, 2015, the United States Commission on Civil Rights held a briefing to address concerns regarding current police tactics, training & field implementation to help identify practices that could avoid deadly confrontations. HEARD provided testimony about police use of force against people with disabilities–especially those community members who also are members of other marginalized communities.
